Looking for an active champ guild that does champs at least 3-4x days per week, if not more.

If not, is there anybody interested in forming one strictly for that purpose. I enjoy my pvp so I'd prefer to leave that out of the guild completely.

If you start an elitist guild that disallows tamers and does champs, I'm game.

That sounds fun actually. All depending upon interest of course.

I honestly feel the only way a steady champ guild will really thrive is if they start with a core of PvPers that know how to hold a group together and run defense. Otherwise, it's bound to end in chaos when conflicts arise and there's not enough capability in the group to really hold down the set. Despite the strength of tamers, it's still not much work for a small group of competent PKs to stop the spawn. If there were PvP characters working it as well, it would bring a dynamic much more akin to OSI, I'd wager.

Count me in. Bonus: No thieving from me and even thieving protection from my side. (100% loyalty during the spawn)

I'm in. Tamers or no, I've been looking for an excuse to finish my bard anyways! Don't know if I could make 3 or 4 times a week....but 1 or 2 for sure. Could also bring a friend who's looking for more champs as well.

I love trains, especially ones made of plat! I have tames and bards, I can go in any direction.

There is also Order of the Skull (O^S), but we have only been semi-active recently and semi-recruiting. Cycles and all that.

Whatever you go with, I think having good relations with other champ guilds benefits everyone. We (O^S) do both open and private champs and open and private Harrowers. The gold and plat flow faster when other champ guilds help each other out sometimes. If you start your own guild, hook up with our GM, Avery, she and ye might be interested in a alliance of sorts.

Lol For about two weeks and then no one is game for 3-4 hour champs, cause thats what it is without tamers. I like the idea too, but even when we have 25 tamers doing a spawn, a more than *small * group of ppl literally just sit in town till boss time. But this would be fun to maybe have as a global event sometime? Neira Without tamers? Sign me up when we start :)

Enter: The Fighting Farmers Alliance guild!
    http://www.uorenaissance.com/?page=m_guild&id=605

Formerly a goof-off Order guild, I have converted the stone and changed the name to suit the desires expressed in this thread. Gnarl is the only other member currently and hopefully he's not too miffed that I changed the guild. :p

Basic information about how this guild will operate:
We, as a guild, are here to defend farmers from evil so they may reap the rewards of their work fighting the monsters of the lands. Whether you are at a champion spawn, base spawn, harrower, etc, your life is there for justice and service of the people of Britannia. Outside of those, please pick your fights on non-FFA characters.

There will be no tamers in the guild. This doesn't mean tamers can't hang out or that we will treat tamers with disdain, only that they have no place in the guild.

If you are a bard, I hope you bring something more to the table than just provocation. Preferably Med/Eval for good offense or, in the least, Peacemaking and Med so you can bust plenty of heals and Peacemake enemy tames or dexxers. If you want to be really cool, go 4x Bard with Mage/Med/Resist and pack Firehorns like a boss.

Considering the value of slayers, if your guildmates die in the field, the number one priority is picking up their slayers if you can. Don't risk losing more over it, but if you're there when they drop, save their bacon. Otherwise, fly or fight, preferably the latter. Don't bring anything you really couldn't stand to lose. Standard UO rules.

I don't care who you are, where you are from, who you don't like, do like, won't fight, will kill on sight. This isn't about you or your inability to let the past go or them and their ability to keep you mad over a video game even after it's been so long no one can figure out the math on payback in either direction. You will protect your guildmates and you will put your life on the line to protect the innocent non-combative people's of Britannia from those who would seek to do them harm.

You shouldn't need anything anymore. If you're still farming for gold to get to some goal, this is probably not the ideal guild for you. Your packs shouldn't even have much room for gold because you're so rolled out in combative equipment and resources, carrying anything heavy would put you at risk.

This is NOT going to be a private group activating altars in secrecy. When we roll out, we call out to the people and invite the good, the bad and the ugly to come along. REDS ARE NOT KILL ON SIGHT! Yes, you can be a murderer in the FFA, but you will have a guild tag to reflect status and you cannot be a spawn PK. ie: When we're not doing champs, you can't be out banging hotspots for bard kills. Your counts need to come from doling out justice to those who would seek to secure themselves in a veil of innocence.

I'm not doing this for gold, platinum, skulls, trophies, statuettes or glory. I'm doing this because this is literally the only thing I care about in gaming: group activity for common goals. That said, I will enjoy the spoils I just don't care so much about them. I will be appointing roles as time progresses and Telamon wraps up the guild revamp.

I rambled, but hey, I'm 38 now. I'm older, bolder a bit more beautiful and I'm ready to go out swinging...my axe...at champs and chumps the world over.

Hell yeah. This is exactly what I've wanted from day one - a guild that wants to play hard-mode.
