An excerpt from an IRC convo I had with a new player who goes by Buckwild Buckwild: "THIS IS A FUCKING AWESOME UO SERVER! Its UO nirvana for ppl looking to play this game. Never have I seen a UO server that has all the content UOR has, as well as the community is ABSOLUTELY OUTSTANDING." Couldn't agree more.
Wuts wrong with my forum presentation? I drink alot of coffee, and by alot I do mean ALOT so I get a lil hyper sometimes......that combined with the fact that I own my own business/own boss/can do w/e the hell I want at work and commonly play/check forums from work means Im on here and IRC alot and type....alot rofl.... And I wholeheartedly agree and support my accurate quote from ElHorno!
PS I would add the (IMO powerful) statement that I made also along the lines of... "Why would someone play UO anyplace else other than here? The only reason I can come up with is ignorance...."
Best reason to play another server is if you don't like the custom "UOR" era we have here. It has nothing to do with ignorance.
Ive played on servers without custom content. Without custom content and "true accurate renaissance exclusive content" the game is empty and boring. Like LEGIT empty. UO needs custom content or there just isnt anything to do IMO.
Thanks for sharing and reiterating what all the players here already know. This server is a true rival to an actual production server in terms of speed, reliability, and customer service.
I think content is needed to keep people interested. If uo was the same day in and day out most would have quit a long time ago. I may take a break from time to time but Uor always has me coming back. Although 3 years in couting on archery I believe the content is needed. You will see threads that have people complaining that UoR is becoming tramell. I see the content as getting people into the world. For a long time I have had the same argument about bods keeping people indoors. So to see tmaps, fishing, Etc etc have a reward for doing them is refreahing. The only thing I see UoR needing is more fresh content for ALL SKILLS requiring you to get out into the world. People may say ctf is tramell I see it as the only pure form of pvp along with 1v1 n 2v2s. I think people tend to forget that you play a game for free and you may not alway agree what Chris does but there is a reason we still play a game 15 years old or so. So take the time n remember why you play and instead of being a dick, be thankful you can play a game that so many others will never get to experience

I have played them all. IPY, IPY2, UOF, UOSA, Hybrid, An Corp, Rel Por.. all of the failure ones in between. My honest opinion... so far this is an AWESOME PvE server. And an average PvP server. None of the big name pvp groups play here. But I think the biggest problem with PvP currently.,. is not a server issue, it is a player issue. If you want a thriving PvP system it is up to the players to make it happen. Bottom line, we need more groups out there. I've spent hours trying to get my pvp buddies from other servers to roll characters here, so we will see what happens. Everyone else should do the same!
