So, how can you extract a PERSONAL.MAP file to share ? I have some stuff locked up in mine (was a fool, didn't make Ore.MAP file seperately)
I was worried something too simple would be said - because I seem to have a problem. I attached what my UOAM shows - which is places I have marked. My Personal.MAP shows...nothing. Literally nothing. And yes - the labels are attached to map Personal.MAP
@CrazyJoe , I'm not sure if you're still playing here, but I realized that I told you to get ahold of me....and then my house got destroyed by a tornado. If you're still around and got your answers...great....if not, get ahold of me. Hopefully this time my offer of help won't result in my house getting destroyed by a tornado.
Well I haven't added a marker in months and months so there is a progress stagnation atm. I have to do dagger island mountains, the entire destard mountain range and wrong mountain range. Probably 8ish hours of mining so maybe this time next year I'll be done! Oh and in an effort to inspire/be inspired, if anyone pitches in and does one of the 3 ranges I am missing, I will match your contribution and put the other 2 ranges back on my priority list and get this map pumped out on the fly.
Interesting concept, maybe i could help map out something for you @El Horno Do I just create a new ore map file for myself, plop down the ore icon and send you the file when i have something useful? Anything I need beyond the grid overlay and the ore icons (C_ right)?
Well we are 3 mountain ranges from completing the project. I am currently working on the Wrong mountain range, Gatsby is working on dagger island mountain range. That leaves Destard. Ya, there is nothing needed except the grid and using the C_ icons. Make sure your placing it in the center so that when zoomed out a little the icons are centered on the grid. Also use relative location macros as they are way more accurate then trying to do it by hand. I have each directional arrow set to their respective relative tiles and alt+ directional arrow for 2 tiles in each respective direction. Also you have to mine all iron veins dry to make sure there isn't color hidden in there. I only mine the colored veins until I discover its a colored vein.
On second thought Fooka, I got it. I'm riding Canis's HYPE TRAIN and did my entire mountain range today and am going to bust out Destard mountain range on the fly. CHOOOOOO CHOOOOOOOOO. ALLLLLL ABOARD! UOR-GS SLATED FOR COMPLETION SOON!
Ha well I have to do dagger island and that is it but I'm burn't out for a bit so it will be done eventually lol.
