I just GM'ed Disco. It took about a day of macro'ing at home...super easy. 0-30 Train from NPC 30-65 Scorpions trapped in a corner of my house 65-85 Drakes trapped in my house 85-GM Dragons trapped in my house As a tamer, this was a SUPER easy skill to GM. I just tamed what I needed, trapped them in a corner in case they got loose and then macro'ed until the gains stopped.
Hi, I have just GMed disco. 0-30 buy from NPC 30-68 tamed scorpions in the corner of my house 68-80 drakes 80-96 mares 96-GM dragons I didnt feed the scorpions and used a separate script for every scorp and a separe hiding macro so 8 macros in total. From drakes to dragons i have used Wulvers DiscordDrag macro that i have modified to action up to 4 targets with feeding. I had to change the loop to feed pets every 20 successful discords ( from 30 default) because my mares were getting upset. A bit of script changing to achieve GM discord i hope it was worth it As Captain said pretty easy to GM when being a tamer.
Just wanted to add what I used without a tamer template. 30-62 trapped lizardman. 62-75 trapped Giant Serpent. 75-96 trapped silver serpent. From 96 to GM a friend allowed me to use their dragons that needed to be trained anyway to speed up the process. I do however believe that you can GM off silver serpents since I GMed provoking off them.
Would a creature under discord retain the 20% reduced stats/skills when it became tame, or would the skills revert back to normal tamed stats?
Will "All Guard Me" refresh happyness? I know a tamed pet will stay happy for 24 hours but figured i would ask.
Yes it will, as long as you have gm taming/lore and the pet is bonded a few all guard mes at the end of the macro should keep them at full loyalty
Looks like they were becoming unhappy quickly and untaming... (not bonded). Going to try with untamed. If so then drakes/dragons are going to be interesting...
My tamer is the one I'm working disco on, how will I stop the drakes from releasing? "All guard me" didn't refresh the scorpions.
It should work, if not just don't say anything and have your macro drop some food on them every once in awhile. The drakes should take at least 12 hours to go wild, probably more.
disco is not an aggressive act so yes you can disco them inside your own house, hide for 16 seconds, repeat. Thats why its so easy with a tamer.
No I ment the feeding part, wouldn't I have to be right next to them? Just thought I had to be further away.
press record. grab 1 piece of food ur drake likes from your backpack drop it on your drakes head stop recording right click the piece of food line and change it to item type.
