    Ultima Online Renaissance Geological Survey

Ore veins on UOR are static and as such can be marked on UO auto-map. A year ago I set out to map these veins and I am proud to announce the Survey is complete. Now, as planned, I am releasing the survey results to you! LONG LIVE UO RENAISSANCE.

    Instructions:
    1. Download/Install UO Automap.
    2. Install UOAM Resource Grid
    3. Download and extract UOR Geological Survey + Ore Icons
    4. Drag the file "UOR-Geographical_Survey.map" into your UOAM install folder. (Default is C:\Program Files\UOAM)
    5. Open UOAM and click Map | Additional Settings
    6. Go to the Filter tab and click Add...
    7.
Name the category iron then click Choose Icon and choose the iron.ico icon that was extracted in step 3.

    8. Repeat step 7 for all the ores using specifically these names (iron, dull, shadow, copper, bronze, gold, agapite, verite, valorite), and their respective ore icons.
    9. Enjoy!

Note: You can select which ores you want displayed via the Filters tab, such as filling a shadow BOD:

A special thanks to Gatsby and Willeh who donated their time to help survey.

Let me be the first to gratulate you to this incredible feat! *salutes*

Were you able to find identify a reliable pattern? Last year it looked like there might be something like that.

    Wow, awesome!

The oak map and now the ore map. Both brilliant works.

    Congratulations @El Horno!

Pretty easy to see it with that shadow filter shot, there are some strange boundary cases but overall it's two east, one north for a line, and 4 north to the next line. Valorite (1), Verite (2), Agapite(3), and Gold (3)all share a line in that repeating pattern (going SW). The boundary shifts one to the W (or E depending on how you follow the line) to start the next pattern.

oh and @Worm , you have proven yourself worthy of being in TT. Everyone else posts either a congratulations or a thank you, you come in with a baseless EUO accusation. Check out the shard rules, EUO is illegal here and highly detectable.

Hahaha, what a fucking moron. lolololol

Thanks El Horndoggy. I haven't downloaded it yet, but I'm curious about whether or not you surveyed the Buc's Caverns? I could probably get you the data if it's not already done.

    Cheers and hail UOR.

Side Note: CP is obviously Captain Planet, without whom this project would not be possible due to global warming and whatnot.

So much effort, El Horne. Hope Tela gets you something nice for all your hard work. You deserve a plaque or award statue or something.

Maybe a runic blessed prospector tool!
