Hey guys, I'm coming back to this fantastic game after not playing for probably 5 years. I quit shortly after AoS was released on OSI and picked up UO again on UOG:Hybrid which was pretty cool. Seeing how that server is now pretty bad, I made up my mind to pick this one over UOF to start playing again. Questions: 1) I've been told factions are dead here. Why is that? 2) How's the pvp population? are their fights at moongates/towns or mostly dungeons? 3) If I was to make my own O/C guild and hunt for solo/small fights, how successful would I be? 4) I understand there's no bolas but wands are in. Are fights a lightning-wand spam fest? 5) Do players still run exp pots here even though the bonus damage isn't installed? 6) Compared to UOF forums, this pvp forum is pretty empty. Is that indicative of the pvp climate here? Thanks! Looking forward to start playing tonight.

YOU yourself could spark some activity and have a good time by making aforementioned guild whereas before there was an absence of activity. 4) I understand there's no bolas but wands are in. Wands are a must for this server take save mana while you take down there reflect 5) Do players still run exp pots here even though the bonus damage isn't installed? Why talk pvp in the forums when you can go in game and get ganked!
Go red and announce your location in IRC. Shouldn't take long before the PVP guys show up. Ice has been a PVP hot bed the last few weeks for some reason.
