Well if you count just fishing up and separating out gold/plat first, then about ~26 hours or 56k/hour. Sort time for everything else was ~5 hours + value of everything but junk (body parts and deco stuff) it was a bit over 100k/hr.
Wow nice, that's a pretty good gold per hour ratio (for something nearly 100% safe of pvp/PKing). Did you consider typing in all the coords etc? Gratz on that nice feat!
The numbers were so I knew which bag to hold while fishing no routing really, just sailed to the next closest point and fished.
Holy crap this is awesome. Thanks for sorting all this out! (btw kinda off topic - what program do you use for all your image editing? this is really well presented)
You again with yet another awesome thing! What do you believe is the best way to move from MiB to MiB spot? I usually look for a few spots which are close together on UOAM and do them all at once, but id be happy to know if there is a more efficient method. Thanks, and again.. that list is awesome!
Fantastic. Great work. Motivates me to do the 300 MiBs I have stocked. But oh the laziness to sort it all out...
This is awesome. I did this once in a spreadsheet so as to calculate what I was willing to pay someone for their mibs and still make a profit. You went off the deep end (pun intended) with how you put it all together, looks awesome!
Also, for future reference, instead of stacking the containers behind the mast I've found it best to stack them on the tile directly in front of the tillerman. If you snag a monster onto your deck you're less likely to ever have a chest broken near the tillerman. I don't think I've ever had a chest broken back there. As a side note if you're ever killed and need to get another char onto the boat it would be impossible because you have the recall tile blocked.
MS Paint and Photoshop Pretty much what I did! Set my boat down in the water near my house (you can see my marker in the UOAM map near Fens of the Dead) and just kept sailing to the closest points. My exact path was from there, up a bit from there in the waters off Brit, then south / west working my way up past Skara and Yew, wrapped back around to the bottom near Serps and then back north, then sailing down the far right side. Haha yeah the way I stacked was a bit of a risk. Been using UO Rudder though so I managed to keep everything safe...the kraken smashing happened literally the second to last run I did because I sneezed and couldn't turn in time lol
Boothby i used a similar setup when i was doing them, yet on a way smaller scale! I organized them into directional bags (only used 4 NE/NW/SE/SW though, 6 sheesh!) made it a lot more tolerable. You're a great asset man, keep up the work!
Since a couple people asked, here's the rough path I took while sailing, starting from my house near Fens and ending north of Fire Island (which I did go around, just screwed up the line )
Sorry to bump an old post, but the image is broken. Can anyone repost it? I want to see the analysis! Thanks.
