Summary in the thread title. Basically, these chairs come with grey cushions standard. If you furtniture dye them, I am fairly certain you will also dye the wood. As these chairs are generally not considered valuable, one of the cool things that could be done with them is that if you apply a regular dye tub to them, you can change the cushion color. I remember this on OSI, but I may be remembering wrong. Let me know what you all think.
devalues furniture dye tubs and all furniture dyed with them I do agree though, furniture dyed with these dye tubs looks ... undesirable.
I don't see how allowing you to change the cushion color would devalue furniture dye tubs, if any thing this would help enhance it, think of a dark grey chair dyed buy a furniture tub and then change the cushion to like a red. More customizing is always better imo.
The title says "regular" dye tubs. Dye the cushions while retaining the natural wood color for 10 gold and add little customization to your home decor or plat sink and dye the whole thing one color. Devalued.
Again I don't see your point of the cushion color having any effect on the furniture dye tubs worth you'd still be changing the wood color of the chair the only difference is you'd be able to choose a complimentary color for the cushion or leave it the same as the furniture dye. Not to mention there are tons of furniture items other then these particular chairs that you can dye, don't see this minor change having an impact on their value
I agree it should be changed then to change the entire chair color like it does with the other items, but still don't think these 2 items being able to have a reg dye tub would change the overall value of furni dyes
I dunno how 2 chairs getting their cushions dyed would devalue furny tubs. Seems to me most people use those for counters and chests, no?
