@Phillip IRL threats against players are never tolerated in the Renaissance community. Please refrain from these statements in the future.

Additionally selling an item on the forums implies that you are willing to accept and honor any bids by any player. Regardless of ingame drama, dislike, etc. Under the new forum rules players who post fake bids, have no intention of buying the item or are only looking to cause drama will be addressed. Otherwise all valid bidders and bids should be accepted.

If there is dislike enough between the buyer and the seller, then use a broker to complete the trade. If this is still not amicable the item should be sold for a set price, not in an auction. Thus allowing the seller to select the buyer.

For auctions, I think we need to allow all players to bid, with the understand that every bid MUST be legitimate. If the staff has to be more involved in making sure the players feel the trade forums are fair, we will do that. Trying to run auctions that apply to only sections of the playerbase just create confusion, conflict and frustration.

Otherwise you just end up defeating the purpose of the trade forums/auctions if players have to wonder if their bids will be accepted because of drama they may not be aware of or involved in.

That aside, still not acceptable to make threats against a player based on a trade dispute.
