You are bidding on "an exceedingly accurate massive broadsword of vanquishing and daemon dismissal". It is unused. S/B: 50K B/I: Keep it reasonable! B/O: none Plat is not accepted, sorry, I'm broke AF! Auction ends 48 hours after last bid (if only one bid) and 24 hours after last bid (if there are multiple bids)
At the risk of being a not-so-honorable fellow and my first post as a newbie to this shard being something that I go against my word on... there's just no way I can sell this sword that cheap. I'm not sure if I posted in the wrong time frame or described the item incorrectly, but it seems to me from basic research that the sword is worth significantly more than what has been offered so far. With that said, unfortunately I cannot accept plat at this time as I need gold to buy regs! I will continue to entertain gold offers though, and I apologize to the current high bidder.
Ok so now that I am not walking out the door, and have time to address this. I want start by saying, we a code of conduct here. When items are placed up for sale with rules, we ALL ,must follow those rules. Here are yours: EVERYONE in the above thread followed those rules, except the seller. Why would this be? Because you didn't get your way? So here is the deal, you either man up and do what you know is right, or you can squander this deal and not only have me not buy any of you shit, I will make sure anyone I am friends with will not buy from you either. I will derail each and every thread you have, and will certainly label you and your pals as KOS-Kill on Sight, dry loot, and horse kill. I have always held up my end of the deal on here, even when someone would private message me with a bid, or if someone comes over the top of a ended bid, I still honor the rules of the auctions. This is purely about integrity.......do you have any?
Pretty simple really, own up to your auction details. If the S/B was not what you expected to get, you should not have listed that as the S/B. This is no one's fault but the seller's and I absolutely will blacklist anything listed by this seller henceforth if he doesn't make good on this deal per his auction terms.
I mean..... 60k for a daemon diss vanq aint bad at all...... Not like this things a repond, Ele B, or any other high end slayer...... I wouldnt pay 60k for this even if i wanted to kill Daemon's which I dont....
I will also blacklist..... I give tons of slack to being new but 60k is a really fair price on this.... and If you are that broke 60k is a great starting point
If you are already farming mobs that drop weapons of this caliber, you also will not be broke for long unless you're being greedy. Though that is quite common....as can be seen in this thread.
Yeah, that is not cool Nytefell. I'm a new player too and I know money can be tight but you can't do this. If it was me I'd just say sorry and honour the bid, everyone will forget about it soon enough if its resolved right.
Grab the pitchforks and round up the lynch mob! We demand Nytefell's head on the end of a fence post!
Daemon dismissal also works on balrons, does it not? That mightta helped your efforts.. And on the topic of honoring bids, I agree with the lynch mob, you gotta stand by your posts!
Pill, a daemon dismissal instrument works on balrons, that's a fact jack! A) I don't think the weapon is worth a whole hell of a lot more. Maybe 100k? Maybe.... B) Either increase your S/B to the least you're willing to accept for something, oooooor do it the douche way and claim there is a "Reserve". That's a magical value greater than the Starting Bid known only to the seller, which is the least he/she will accept for the item. This Reserve business has never made sense to me. But then again it would have saved you all this nonsense in this situation. C) It's not worth the bad reputation to go against your own terms and conditions so honor the terms and let that be a lesson. Beyond that, good luck and all the best. If you do the right thing you save face and won't be ripped off in my opinion.
Oh wow, good info I didn't know that. In theory that would make a daemon dismissal worth a bit more then balron damnation, because it accommodates a larger array of monsters. Regardless to the OP, you should make right on your auction in which you set the terms. I think your only other option at this point would be to start from scratch with a new account and try to redeem yourself with honorable business ethic. For future reference, if you don't know what the value of an item you are selling may be, it would be wise to ask around via IRC or the forum before creating a formal auction, and including specific terms, such as SB, timer, etc..
