2016 Halloween Costume Contest

    In the spirit of the upcoming Halloween season, I thought it would be fun to experiment with our first UO:R Costume Contest. Time to get those creative juices flowing!

    How to Enter
    It's simple. Put on your best costume and submit a screenshot showing your toon both from an aerial perspective and also his/her paperdoll. It might also be helpful to state what your costume represents. There is no central theme for the competition, so feel free to incorporate whatever level of creativity you desire. French maid? Great. Drag queen? Sure. Want to find an ordinary tribal mask with a grey half-apron and go as Telamon? Fantastic.

    Entries are limited to one toon per person and Photoshop will not be allowed. Any additional submissions are welcome for our viewing pleasure, but only your first submission will count toward the competition. I probably don't need to explicitly state this, but keep in mind this is about being creative with your costume, not about rolling up in the most expensive/rarest collection of items on the shard.

    Scoring
    The entry window for submissions is open effective immediately and will close on Oct 30th at midnight CST (10:00pm PST / 1:00am EST).

    Once the entry window closes, a 72-hour voting window will open which will allow each person, contestant or not, to cast three votes. Each voter will be allowed to submit one vote per entry, and unfortunately you can't vote for yourself (you already have the best costume anyways so it shouldn't matter, right?)

    CURRENT SCOREBOARD

    Once the scoring window closes on Nov 2nd at midnight CST (10:00pm PST / 1:00am EST), I will tally everything up via spreadsheet and will post the final results.

    Will there be prizes?
    Of course there will be prizes. I will commit to contribute gold and/or plat from my personal stash, but am certainly encouraging/accepting donations from any interested parties. Feel free to PM me if you would like to help out -- I will be sure to give you credit once the prize pool begins to crystallize. Preliminarily I am anticipating that the top 3 will receive prizes. It will be worth your time, but more importantly let's have fun with this!

    Additionally, I have confirmed with Telamon that the Top 3 winners will receive both Halloween hued trophies AND personalized body sashes with their respective place on them!

    Prize Allocations
    1st Place - $1.50M + TROPHY/SASH
    2nd Place - $875K + TROPHY/SASH
    3rd Place - $250K + 20 Platinum + TROPHY/SASH

    This is Matt Damon in his new role as BatMan for the upcoming Captain America 2 movie. He spilled coffee on his costume on his way to get the shot for the paperdoll... We had to make a new one on the fly and were unable to get the logo done on time.
