The cannonballs have an ugly poop hue (same as the armor that year?) which you probably wont see again but you will see hued balls in the future.

The realistic would price them 750k-1.5m
The completionist would suck a dick for them 3m-5m

This is not an item to short. You must long this and wait for more balls to land in people's pack. This item needs more drops of different hued cannonballs in order to really make a splash.

If no other bids in 48hrs I will congratulate The Crooked Warden with a nice acquisition of an item for half a price.

As to "more drops" - seems if they only drop at Halloween event we can wait for a year or more.

crappy thread, a price check turned into an auction, I think laroch had a stroke, lutz is one of only a handful with cannons and a guard outpost display, spent 9 million on a cannon that any one can have and completely unique cannonballs would be worth 500k to him/her? I would say 5-10x that or to some other collector, but what do I know. grats to pockets if you pick these up for chump change. I guess this is a bump.

Any idea about the backstory for these? I guess "Ararat" refers to Mount Ararat?

Well, Azoth, as I have already told Zyler, a guy who killed undead captain Johne told me that after he had sent him to oblivion he searched through his belongings and found a key from captain's chest.

There he found these cannonballs and ruined captain's journal. Though most of the ship's journal pages were heavily damaged by long exposure to salty water some of the fragments can still be read.

I will give the journal together with the cannonballs to their new owner and public it, but for now I ask to make it an auction untill it's over and post bids here.
