I'm looking for ideal training targets for a trapped and macroing venture from trained. I've always trained it in the field but this time I'd rather not. I looked at the provocation route but ;having to hide / reapply won't work for this character. I'm going to need to use a trapped subject in a house for this. Suggestions?
High level melee only targets like Ogre Lords or Ore Eles (not sure about this last one), should work fine up to around 94 disco. Keep the mob aggroed on to something else (ie. your horse, as in training a dragon), and you won't have a problem hiding to break disco. Not sure if it can GM you. BUT, you can use a tame dragon to get to GM. Also, look into boats. You can stick the mob in a boat, disco, and move away and then back close to it.

Fire Island is your friend werkwerk. Use Lizardmen up to 55-60. Giant Serpents till 70ish and then use Silver Serpents to GM.
Any documentation that outlines the minimum skill to begin training what/when? For example, lizardmen have a bard dif of 46/41. My guy 31-33 skill.
Gorillas? Plenty of them around too. I can't remember what I used to start discord. It was 2 years ago but I use silver serpents past 70 to GM barding skills and that's the harder part. I'm pretty sure you can use another accounts pets for discord as well. El Horno told me to use WWs to GM. But the earlier stages u can probably lock up some bears and stuff.
I used scorps to 40, a drake to 90, and a dragon to GM. But then again, the discoer was my tamer, so that was easy.

You can fine tune it as you see fit =P
