Had a lot of people ask me about how to iron man Christmas scrolls so I started recording runs. Here's Santa's Lair : I usually bring 200 bandies, 70-80 exp pots, 20 str/20 dex/30 cure/60 heal/50 refresh. Weapons I use are a valorite double axe, valorite katana, power repond battle axe and 4 DP katanas. Strategy is to just rush the reindeer and kill them as fast as possible. Use the DP katanas on the non-caster reindeer to help kill them faster (DP wont work on the caster reindeer). The elves with archery are the easiest to provoke onto the deer - so try and provoke the deer onto archers when possible. After killing all 9 deer the final boss room unlocks. Final room has 3 elves + the boss (+ his battle mount). I try and kill two elves and leave the 3rd alive so I can provoke santa's battle mount onto it (can use DP on his mount to kill faster). Boss is a straight tank and spank fight. Toss explosion pots behind him as shown in the video to help DPS faster. Just run away if you get low and jump back into the fight when you're healed. Another tip is that you can use bandages on the elves. So if you provoke a deer onto an elf and the elf starts dying too fast you can heal it with bandies to keep it alive. On the scrolls I like to take the main boss out as fast as possible and then just go back through after he's dead to clean up the rest of the elves for hcoin. Red scroll usually nets around 60-60 coins in total. Small Village (green scroll): I usually bring 200 bandies, 2 full exp kegs + 200 empty bottles (all in a bag), 70-80 exp pots, 20 str/20 dex/30 cure/60 heal/50 refresh. Weapons I use are a valorite double axe, valorite katana, power repond battle axe and 4 DP katanas. Strategy here is to get all the gift boxes ASAP. The mini bosses will always drop 1 box & the random spawn in the event will drop the rest. A tip about the boxes is the mobs that are up when the scroll starts will drop the boxes. Minions mini-bosses spawn will NOT drop them. Fight the mini bosses in doorways when you can (except villa doorways.. RIP) to minimize the minions they spawn. When all gifts have been found & turned in lure the grinch up to the NW corner as shown in the video. Make sure to have your bag of exp kegs/pots upstairs before you lure the grinch. Toss explosion pots until he's dead. Any leftover pots can be used on the other mini bosses he spawns. Ice Fortress (white scroll): I usually bring 200 bandies, 2 full exp kegs + 200 empty bottles (all in a bag), 70-80 exp pots, 20 str/20 dex/30 cure/60 heal/50 refresh. Weapons I use are a valorite double axe, valorite katana, power repond battle axe, +10 force repond broadsword and 4 DP katanas. Kill 25 minions in the first area to unlock the gate. Kill 4 mini bosses in the 2nd area to spawn the boss/unlock the next gate. Can straight tank the elf commander if you don't want to waste the exp pots. Just stand on the same tile as him and the AOE won't do any damage. Can also toss exp pots at him like in the video for an easy, stress free kill. Large Continent (blue scroll): I usually bring 200 bandies, 70-80 exp pots, 20 str/20 dex/30 cure/60 heal/50 refresh. Weapons I use are a valorite double axe, valorite katana, power repond battle axe, +10 force repond broadsword and 4 DP katanas. I bring a silver vanq katana with me on this scroll for the dark elf spirits since they're undead. Does really good damage. Just kill 24 minions and 4 mini bosses to 'unlock' the dark elf spirits (2 of 'em). Pretty straight forward scroll. Bosses are tank and spank - stand on the same tile as the boss to avoid the AOE damage. Run away if you're taking too much damage
