One would need a clear definition of "Trammel" that a majority of the citizens agree upon first, methinks.

And THAT right there is the #1 cause of conflict on these type of things ....

In a land where certain colors are not allowed on dye tubs and certain hues have been removed, the Pink pony, no matter how many or few out there seems to break with previous decisions and I personally do not like their existence

I would be willing to pitch in for a fund to purchase and kill all of them.

First they gave us gaudy crystals and we said nothing.

Then they came with pink horses and still we said nothing.

How many more atrocities before we will take a stand?

They're no worse than rideable polar bears IMO, and are much rarer. Given the same rule set, I see no problem.

...and don't bring crystals into this.

I am not a huge fan of it but I also think some of the mask colors are getting out of hand as well.

There are so many other mobiles we could have put into the game that can be enjoyed by all, rather then the elite of the elite, but instead we made pink horses.

yes they're worse, the hue is horrendous and year round use won't be limited to bod pullers

They are and they can be bonded as well. That's the only thing that makes them worse than the polar bears. Though the hue is a bit much, they're no more atrocious than the warhorses. However, they are supposed to be very rare, 1:40 Cupid bosses ride a mount that can be tamed. Apparently the RNG hit some magical 0.025% chance of spawning two in a row. lol


Now make with the dragon dye tub CUB rewards.

You don't like bright hues but Trammel means you can walk through people, can't steal from players, and can't kill players without consent. How is a pink horse Trammel?

I think they should have the same rules as polar bears, and should be much rarer than 1:40.

Hey Blaise, for someone who kind of ragequit because of a few crystals, you are quite ignorant to other peoples complains in this case. I would have thought you are able to understand the feelings of people here. Especially as hued pets are a much more often seen plight on other shards and instantly summon bad memories. I think it would be sad, if people left the Shard, because they cant accept their existence on a Renaissance era shard. But sadly, that's a possible reaction of annoyed gamers.
It's by the way a 0.25% chance if it's really 1/40.

Another much better way in my opinion, would be to form a pact with the majority of UOR players to publicly announce the sighting of a pink horse and organize a witch-hunt to kill it's rider each and every time. Everywhere, even in guardzones. Afterwards, lure that horse away, put it on a boat, and let it hopefully decay one day.

Btw, this Horse-nado/Pink-gate was actually scheduled for 2016. But back then, people didn't know about the horses and simply "all-killed" them with their macros. Chris mocked us about it publicly, and now people are aware of them.

Supra you can't kill a bonded pet by luring it on a boat. The owner can just use a pet ball to summon it back.

Polar bears are bondable too (although they require Pec meat since they are two control slots), but the only mount during the holiday is a good rule.

Best I can tell, what this has done is just make the guarding of Cupid more aggressive.

... and to me, this is why that pink horse is 'perfected'.
