Restocked all three vendors. Would people be interested in a full runebooks vendor(s)? If so, which books/sets?
I am in the middle of a huge bulk order and so the vendors might not be stocked as often for a few days.
Thanks @TreeHugger for your suggestion. I am still deciding whether to sell runebooks on the vendors or to just auction sets. Anyway, I have just restocked the vendors!
In case people were wondering where my vendors have gone, I have pulled them up until I have moved IRL and have got the internet back on. I locked a book down where the vendors were (and will be again) to tell people why and my earliest return (24th Feb).
Turns out my intarwebz at the new place are a) less than 2mbps and b) awful for dropping the connection all the time and/or timing out. This means that afk macroing is rarely functional and so I am limited to macroing when at the keyboard and that even then the longer macros (like filling a spellbook) fail part way through most of the time and I have to finish the job the macro would have done by hand. This means that I am unable to restock my vendors (and so have not re-placed them) and that existing orders might take me a while to fill. I am so glad that I no longer play (and pay for) WoW. I am chasing my ISP (they promised me 3mbps - 8mbps) and will be back as soon as I can. Gutted, to be honest.
Are you forced into using a specific ISP in your building? I had this same problem with sky (dropped to 3mps when I moved) so had to end up getting virgin fibre. Annoying situation, especially considering they expect you to pay the same rate even with their drop in service. Good luck.
No. I stuck with the ISP (PlusNet) I had at the old place (8+mbps fibre) but, despite being in the same town and same exchange, the new apartment building is a recent build so there is no fibre (boo for tv/film streaming). Are you UK too then? I forget.
I was able to run UO off my iphone 3G faster than my previous service with Sky... not sure if that could be a possible solution for you.
Yeah I could but I would rather pursue this with PlusNet. I pay £5 a month for the barest minimum data on my iPhone (GiffGaff) and would rather not pay for more on the phone when I am already paying for PlusNet. I imagine that this is because my new place is a recent new build and that PlusNet/BT will get on top of it eventually. Meanwhile I will do what I can at the keyboard which does not include any hunting!

PLEASE NOTE: If you PM me via IRC and I am on there as AzerothianAFKAnything then I am AFK (away from keyboard) and can only reply if you stay online in IRC and leave your IRC client (not on the web from the UOR website) running all the time. It is also best to leave a more meaningful message on IRC than just, "Hi!", for example, i.e. what you want to order. Otherwise you are best messaging me on the UORforums (using the message/inbox process, not in public forums threads). Bulk order payment You have to pay some/all in advance / up front*: 50% in advance for scribe orders. 100% in advance for bulk regs, empty bottle or blank scroll orders. For all orders, balance (where > 0 g!) is payable on delivery of the order. * This is because more than one person has, in the past, ordered something and then, when I had spent a lot of g buying regs and/or g and time making scrolls and I tried to deliver the order, they were not to be found or just said, "Don't need them now! haha!" This has just happened again. If you have paid for something in full or in part then you are less likely to do that to me. This is not intended to be a personal attack on my clients but my pockets are not deep enough to be a charity.
