Hello. My first home on UO ever was a log cabin on the Isle of the Avatar, most commonly referred to as Fire Island. I love the tall trees (yes I play without the no trees mod and often get stuck all over the place. That's life) and can't quite live in a tower somewhere that towers over the neighbourhood trees... I don't have access to the game for a while to post screen shots, but there are a couple of secluded towers on fire island which seem to be going unused. I have left books on the steps but I think @The Crooked Warden steals them and adds them to his library of "books representing Halabinder's gypsy tears resulting from failed attempts at buying a house." I know I know, it's a long winded name for a stinking bookshelf dedicated to my tears but I cannot do much about how TCW plays the game and what he finds entertaining. Back to topic. If you own a secluded tower on fire island that you are willing to part with, please leave me a message here or send me a PM. I'll post pics of the towers I mentioned above when I have access to my PC. I know... My brother owned it the last time we were here... I had to convince a PK to sell it to me lol It was his loot stash house. But he was nice and sold me the house. I like your style. Nostalgia is the sweet nectar of Ultima for me. If I hear of anything I'll try to put a good word in for ya. Also, I appreciate the attempt at properly addressing the Isle of the Avatar, but can't resist sharing the correction.
