I think you're being overly simplistic in both cases. You have no clue as to what their personal situation is/was at the time, so you cannot know why they left or came back when and how they did. @shad, I think @SteelyDan and @Too Old For This ... are mostly upset because you seem to be wanting to extract more than what "fair" market value is. In this case linking @Cynic's post implying that a green amib's value is 170k so that is what people should pay. I saw it first hand on the lvl 5 maps, when I bid and before winning you top it with a post saying "Lvl 5!!" as if implying I'm paying too little for them, when in reality I was paying more than what I have bought dozens of lvl 5's for. This case is pretty much the same, I didn't even bother posting a SB because SB is above what I consider fair value for this item. It is fine and good to top an auction, it is just the form that may rub potential buyers the wrong way.
