After playing with some cloth on my roof, I began to wonder what else was out there that people are doing. Post what you guys have here, keep all artwork to cloth drawings as best you can. I know some people use some awesome rares and such for deco, but I just wanted to see the creative 8-bit artwork! Crossed swords and Order/Chaos shields UOR for life!
It is 16x16 at that roof, so it should be possible. Try to get a 16x16 picture of Mario's head to peek at as a reference while you test to do it later on your new tower.
Knocked up a stencil. It seems like the Fortress is 15 wide and 16 high (with a bit being 17). Lets see some good designs!
now if only I could make it so when I recall into the cy, the "found a mystery key . zelda" sound would go off

@Evil Dead This looks absolutely stunning!! If I ever manage to get a fortress, can I pay you for some good roof art? Looking for sth in 8 Bit/16 Bit-Style (International Karate, Dungeon Master, Bards Tale etc.).
Mine is very similar, its part of a whole theme of the house which is "hidden island pirate fortress". So the skull and cross bones is to show that its a pirate island in the mountain side.
