I'd actually like to point out that I did not start the thread derail and I was the only one to stay in support of private bids in a post where a buyer is accepting them.. You all piled on me, as usual.
Questioning private bidders on a high amount auction isn't thread derailment.... constantly posting other bullcrap and blowing up Cig smoking man's inbox with reports is
There's a report button for a reason. It's used on me, I'll use it right back. If you're going to question private bidders, can someone not advocate for them? Or are you one of the many here who think their ideas are absolute?
I'm questioning the private bidder because I have a stake in it, you don't (unless you really ARE said private bidder). If you were I wouldn't care. I just want to know a bid is legitimate and not just someone trying to jack up the price out of spite, knowing i'd most likely keep bidding (not scuba, but said private bidder). It's like Uncle Donnie type of stuff.
