No. Although pet bonding (outside of xmas events) should probably be longer than it is currently. For xmas it was dropped to 1hour? 2hours? Then raised up to 24hrs. I'd vote it should be at least 48hrs or back to the full week again, cos lets face it, tamers get enough flak for no reason other than people being too lazy to make one so want it nerfed. However bonding with peculiar meat.....I'd like to see a percentage chance to fail at the bond, say you feed your dragon 3 pieces of meat......whoops, not bonded. Give him another......whoops, not bonded.....lucky number 5? Done. Base the numbers off total taming skill points (lore/vet/taming) and you've got a subtle nerf to make tamers spend more dinero/time on their epic stat pets. The battle arena for pets though, I like this idea. Always wanted to see some organised chicken fights on uo again And yes, I do have 3 tamers. 2 I never use, 1 I use as a main to run stuff back and forth to alts/buy regs/visit vendors.
I like the idea, would you be able to duel your own pets on the same account or need to use different accounts to test your pets metal?

I do like this idea. Have a couple suggestions. The battles only between the same kind of pet. Example. Dragon vrs Dragon. Dog vrs Dog, LOL Chicken vrs Chicken. This way you don't have to be a fully developed player. Anyone can participate. Maybe can come up with some way to announce, organize. Something like Fri Night Fights. Limit the number of battles pre event. Perhaps 10. Also give players some ideas ahead of time of what kind of pets already entered.
