I'll do SB on the lute (item E). Would that instrument make Balrons peaceable at GM peace?

Also am I right in thrilling that the more bard skills you have (disco, peace, provo, music) the higher the success chance when using any of them? Sorry for all the questions in this thread but I found your provo guide really helpful so thought you'd be the right man to ask

So in the beastiary for a Balron:



It says the barding difficulty is 100 with a slayer. I believe that yes, at GM with a slayer instrument it would be Peaceable. Issue is, as you whack on the Balron, he has a chance to pop out from Peace. That may be, umm, bad for your health

And yes, there is a bonus with the more Bard skills you have. From here, Chris said:

Not sure if he ever said what the bonus is, but there is one, I believe. My recommendation would be to simply try to peace one with this instrument and see what happens

Just checked and looks like daemon dismissal doesn't even apply to Balrons so certainly won't be trying it on them!

As such I don't have a use for the lute but obviously I will still honour my bid
