Ahh... yes. I didn't think of that. That's actually not a bug, per se, its part of the nature of how Razor works. I experience the same thing when I try to run a restock agent from a container, that contains items in subcontainers (a chest of regs, that contains a pouch of potions, for example). If I don't open the pouch prior to running the restock, I'll restock regs but not the potions. Sounds like these containers are being affected by the same issue to me -- razor is unaware of its contents and for whatever reason not checking.
Yes. The change was a global change to monsters backpacks, as I understood it -- so all mobs were affected, whether preexisting or otherwise. Once they're killed off and respawn, things will spawn as expected.
What I find most convenient is looting of the gems, reagents, and certain scrolls. I've probably left several 100k worth of these items on corpses in the past.
This is an item that spawns individually on each monster so I have to update the "pack item" system to support it. (This will be done for patch 53) I will look into removing these two options from the randomization of containers to alleviate this. Once people learn the system I can use a more diverse set of containers.
doesn't this just make it easier for a scripter/uosteam looter to just loot the bag even more quickly?
I can't remember exactly. The MonSter (Multiple Sclerosis) has eaten my memory. I was out with a couple of other P'S members who might be able to better remember. It was either Stone Harpies or Harpies in one dungeon (I forget where, I am afraid) or some of the mobs in Ice. All I know is that my Razor (set up as Chris suggests here) was of no use to loot them and I made do looting by hand. The gold and other loot was all in the top level coffin shaped container corpse gump.
Not really. I just asked how to modify the razor-ness for use on mobs without sub-containers. It should not matter *what* mobs.
Hold down [shift] when you grab them and drag them to destination is as quick as it gets. There isn't any allowed automated method.
