I mean, if if you don't have a CY, a few steps can still protect you 100%, yet people still get house looted.

as soon as people assume they are 100% protected, the adventurous mind will discover an opening. if you are unsure about whether your property is secure, I suggest you hire the security professionals such as Msr's Blackeye or Franz Pfhiffel to survey and advise you on your security shortcommings.

And if you fall for hiring known thieves to secure your house for you, you could just give me everything you own and then you don't have to worry about whether or not you should hire a thief to secure your house for you

After reading this thread back some, I definitely agree with the opinion RE CY wipes and teleporters shouldn't be allowed.
The need to be responsible with house security is, was, and always will be felucca!

I do like the teleporters as a convenience and I can also imagine some training purposes teleporters would help with.. I think the idea to make them usable by anyone and everyone would balance the teleporters convenience with risk. I remember on OSI shard I had a teleporter set up to put someone in a jail cell in my house so if someone was chasing me, hey'd get stuck in my jail cell .. very few players ever chased me on to the teleporter though. They would usually stop at my house steps.

What guides or information needs to be added? I've got my typewriter all setup and I'm ready to rumble.

Can people who donated before this system get a different highlight color? I just think it would be the easiest way of rewarding people who donated for nothing now that people are getting something for donating. I just feel like those people should get some sort of recognition for their completely selfless donations if we're going to change the status quo like this, even if its just a silly worthless trophy. An icon under there name on the forums? Something?

I think I am confused. Why would anyone put coins in their wallet if they cannot then use them?

Loving the idea of the teleporters. One thing I really miss from the custom built houses on Malas in paid UO.

I didn't read this entire thread so hopefully I'm not repeating an idea, but what if those that donated prior to any reward for donating get some sort of in-game collectible item that only those donors will receive? Like maybe a bag of potato chips?

I support this idea.

These items will be available from the reward vendor found in most backs and can only be purchased using copper coins earned via the CuB system.

(Pardon my noob here, ) I saw someone the other day selling a house and they had listed "many CUB containers" and showed an image of a pile of red backpacks. Was this released? Is there a command to create a CUB container now? Or was that person just selling lots of containers of junk objects that someone could use when it gets released? TIA
