How do backpack drops work in the event? Is it most damage done or the person who gets the final kill
There is a limit of 1 account per IP address to avoid any shenanigans. However if you contact me once signups open I can allow more accounts into the event for family/friend situations in the same house.
Just go in the green gate at any of the banks. Tonight's NoH will be at 11pm EST. So the gates will probably be up a a little bit before that. After a time some orange books will spawn inside the gate - you double click on the book and click Join. Boom - you're in!
Was it explained why everything with a date says 2016? Was hoping that would be fixed at some point...
Here are the times in military. I always get confused when looking at the pic. Code: DATE EST CST PST 10/25 1200 1100 0900 10/25 2100 2000 1800 10/26 2200 2100 1900 10/27 1600 1500 1300 10/27 2300 10/28 0200 0100 10/28 1600 1500 1300 10/29 1300 1200 1000 10/29 2100 2000 1800
My first time on one of these last night. Really enjoyed it, even though as a smith, my excitement was mostly concentrated in the first 10 mins or so. I'll be better prepared next time now I know what the F goes on Thanks to everyone, especially team Yellow, for being so patient and helpful towards this n00b. I was playing as Shaw Taylor btw.
Something is seriously wrong with the HC drops, I have killed hundreds of mobs and higher end mobs over 3 days of farming in graveyards and gotten only one HC in my bag. I've tried archer turreting, barding/mage and dexxer and many times dealt significant damage but still nothing. I don't get it. I've been in groups where others are running similar builds and strategies as me and they come out with 10-15 HC a run. Hell, i tanked a Blood Necro myself just getting healed by mages and didn't get a HC. I am at a loss here, what am i doing wrong?
I'm with you dude, I've spent more on arrows than I've made in loot and H Coin from farming at GY's since this event started. Even switched it up and tried throwing my tamer and provo character either in the mix or soloing too, no H coin, no trophies, no sweet drops. Just usual loot. Seen people running archer turrets at GY's and only catching 1 or 2 H Coins in 10+ hours. I know that different spawn has different drop rates as in 1/200 for H Coin on some I think, but I read lots of stuff about making a shit tonne of H coins over the holiday period, I'm not a casual player, I get a lot of game time and I've got 2 coins so far from farming at Gy's with my peace dexxer. Halloween rewards are completely unachievable for a player like me so I'll just be selling the coins at some point. I've been able to attend 3 of the NoH events being a UK player and there is another 2 I can attend that are at a resonable time, Managed to get 8 H coins each run at the halloween event, but still not rolling in them like I kind of felt I would be after reading everything on the forums. Not bitching, complaining or whatever - just sympathizing with your plight by describing my own experiences! Regardless of all that - the events are a lot of fun and the activity around GY's has been a lot of fun to watch, experience and enjoy!
Me too m8. I am also in the UK so US date format confuses me. UK times follow (BST until midnight 29th then GMT) with days/dates neither US (m/d/y) nor UK (d/m/y) format and so less ambiguous: Code: DATE UK Wed 25th 1700 Thu 26th 0200 Fri 27th 0000 Fri 27th 1800 Sat 28th 0700 Sat 28th 2100 Sun 29th 1800 Mon 30th 0100 When do US clocks fall back? These times depend on them not doing so. Seems I got some of these times wrong. As you were.
If it is not a mini-boss, do not kill it. JUST kill mini-bosses. Every mini-boss has a 1/1 hcoin drop (headless horsemen, vampire, blood skeletons, blood necromancer). You should be on a provo-dexxer and you just pair the mini bosses off on one of the beefy zombies( that may as well not drop hcoin its such a low chance).
Thanks dude, I find I have more success playing during the quieter times (aka GMT) when there isn't too much activity at GY's too.
Be a dexxer Do not be a tamer See step 1 Visit graveyards and kill the undead there... all of them despite previous advice to focus on specifics... kill everything. When tamer(s) arrive, remember their inherent sense of entitlement will make them think everything belongs to them Now it is time to get specific "Specifically" target "their" mobs If they are also using a melee weapon show respect and move on If they are not using a melee weapon Laugh at the tamer's nerfed damage Go HAM Out dps them as the Gods have decreed Collect your just reward Mine tamer salt as a bonus Super bonus if they bitch about you in IRC Win
