The plot thickens! 4 inactive vendors were moved inside by staff and now 1 of them escape! Makes me think that the owner is around and reached out to staff with a request to put his vendor outside since his vendor was inaccessible. Who is this mystery person?

Ask @Eriz, I think he owns one of them (or used to at least).

Once the copper system is enabled (Soon(tm)), you will have the ability to remove vendors from your vendor house. I can't remember the prices, but there is a list of services that will be available to vendor house owners.

It seems to be very difficult to find the owner of a vendor. I tried for a while to find the owner of a vendor named Kirby cuz I wanted to purchase the vendor from him/her, but I was never able to find the owner before the vendor disappeared.

Treasureman did a quick investigation, said 3/4 vacant ones had been accessed within the last week or two even though they’ve been empty for a while. (I imagine he meant by the owners) He was going to talk to Telamon about what to do.

I mentioned dropping the house and replacing it to Treasureman and he said not to do it and give them more time to figure out a solution.

I don't think you can drop with active vendors....it's a pain for sure. A friend of mine stopped playing and has a vendor on my yew house that he'd sold some 5th anni jewellery on so they were paid up for like 500 days or something - wanted to sell it but the guy wanted to turn it into a private dwelling so pulled out.

If you drop the house, the vendor will disappear and leave his bag behind. But I agree with Treasureman. So as not to create hard feelings, it's best to exhaust all efforts to find the owners.

A twist!

Is the owner of the final vendor still friended to the house? I thought if you accessed a vendor at a house you're no longer friended to, it disappeared. How is he restocking it?

The friend list resets when you transfer a house. The owner of both these vendors are not friended to this house.

I don't know anything about the vendor disappearing...

People can continue stocking their vendors if unfriended, they just don't have any house privileges.
