Yeah BlackEye was very cool about it as well and honored his typical discount resell values. Take notes people learn from my mistakes don’t play UO if you don’t have time haha my daughter started freaking out in other room I logged quick. I missed the fuckin lock. Still good execution @BlackEye & at least it’s a OG thief and not some wannabe :) I’m surely not the first or last to face the wrath of the swift B. Mama

While the maniac elf hunting in dungeons proceeds, I rather focussed on checking the security of houses. While doing my rounds, I found a villa with a broken table wall. The house owner, @compsays, seemed to know how to protect his house, but probably rather choose to skip locking and unlocking everytime. It's maybe inconvenient, but it helps to keep unwanted people specialized in unconsentual wealth re-distribution out.

Well, to make things short, I sneaked in and emptied the villa...

The result is roughly worth 4-5mil. It's an impresive BOD collection actually, but I gave it already back untouched for free with some of the AMIBs and kept the remaining ressources/tmaps/mibs for future sales.

I am sure, @compsays will take it easy after the initial shock. Don't forget, it happens to anybody - even the most experienced vets (this thread is the proof). So, keep a stiff upper lip, buddy!

Usually, I am not posting all of my thieving adventures and inhouse visits. I focus on the more interesting ones with funny tales or impressive loot. Nevertheless, there is much more going on behind the scenes of this forum. So, just for the interested people, here is a small collection of a few more of my latest house break-ins (I obviously didn't farm much during xmas and focused on my thievish roots )...

Back with a vengeance! Nice work *scrolls intently to make sure his homes aren't included in the screenshots*

Glad there's never anything of value in my house that's not behind the table wall :)

I never got a note, so it's good to find out, finally, who broke into my house. Well done!

I forgot to leave some notes sometimes, or was too busy. Which one was yours?

Villa on ice :[ Got me 3 weeks into the server.

Didn't know you had to secure chests to keep others out, but care to share how you got in? Don't know if I left the door unlocked or left a key in the bag "locked down" on the front porch.

Iirc, the table wall in front wasn't closed. And the house key was in the bag openly accessible. So, it wasn't really difficult to get in.

Yeah, that's what I thought. Makes me feel better because I've seen people do this all the time with a locked down bag in a key on the porch (not understanding it has to be secured to keep other's out).

These are old school house lockdown rules that weren't around very much during UO:R even. Takes a break in to really learn your lesson or I guess you could read the website... but who wants to do that?

    Just don't find my Lshape...

This time @Fefa got caught off guard and more importantly off table-walled.

Result: Not sure, my guess is something around 300-500k. Luckily the secure containers were properly used. ;)
