I'm fine with platinum dropping back to 6k per, as long as fortresses go back to being 2-4M per and keeps go back to 600k-2M per.

    For what it's worth - my 2c = my 1k? = .25hc? = .125p? = .01beer?

Sold a number of high value items lately for large quantities of plat. Spent the platinum on other items - some rares from players and quite a few from the vendor. On the first few trades I think I took a bit of a hit as plat fell but I feel really good about the later trades because personally I see 8k as being low. But it's all about personal perception. I listed plat at 10k because it was worth it to me. Just like somebody is willing to buy a keep at 15m apparently. Worth it to them I guess. Every transaction requires 2 parties. Always important to remember.

The change in plat value to gold really didn't change my perception of the value of anything except an unwillingness to sell existing runebooks at a loss. Thankfully I sold my ethys before they lost value.

That perception of selling plat items at a loss might be the thing tethering plat prices a little higher than they might otherwise be.

I remember plat being 6k per, then 8k, then 10k, and now back to 8k. Over the course of many years that's not that much movement overall.

    Few noteable items:

The idocing crew today != the idocing crew of yesteryear. Same with the champing guild. (99% sure the current champ guild != current idocing crew)

I'm glad to see that, whoever they are, they are still ruffling people's feathers and managing to control/manipulate housing values, plat values, and hcoin values. It's a big job but somebody has to do it.

It is remark that 8-12 people can have so much power.

    Long live UOR!

    Hello all!

Seeing what is happening, I'm poor and I can not cover my sorrow! Platinum for me has always been something very valuable and I love platinum coins, especially when playing a thief! But looking reality in the eye, I like many sdes understand that the game model of the economy is due to other mechanisms and the course of platinum is certainly inflated. But when the platinum was 10,000 for a coin, I liked it, it was prey number one for me and seeing platinum my heart fluttered! Let's see where this topic leads us ... in general, I certainly agree that for many players platinum buns in the award-winning store are expensive, but from this they seem even tastier and if you're not going to play seriously, then why the hell do you need them so expensive!

I will not give an unambiguous answer and this is just my opinion!

Partly I agree, and partly no!

    Regards,
    Kir

You know, as one of these poor people you 1%er's keep mentioning, it was nicer for me when plat was at 10k. Because as a poor person, selling welfare plat is a significant boost in your overall wealth every month. And if you want to say that 10k was an artificial inflation devised by evil .5%er's to hoard more wealth, what do us poor people care? We're obviously not playing the super expensive rare game, or the expensive anniversary item game, etc...

Oh and by the way... WTS: 30plat @ 10k per

I just got the most amazing idea.

Lock down those poiple sandelzes in one of the Ocllo bank marbles and then use the decorator tool to raise them over the house so people think they're on the ground.

Then put it on twitch and sit there watching people stand around trying to grab them all day.

Doing champs to farm plat is by far the most lucrative way to get money if your doing it right. (Besides farming Xmas scrolls) Idc what anyone says . I champed almost everyday middle of last year. Got ethy n blessed book in a month just from that alone.

And that's from double boxing. Wasn't even triple boxing

And that's not even counting the harrowers either
