Those claims are crazy.

I have no doubt a few people buy stuff with money, or cheat to run extra accounts, or own extra houses. I also have no doubts that on lucky runs or unlucky runs you can see lots of boss kills and rare animals, or very few. Back in the day people did Lutz' challenge and killed all bosses in 24hrs. Also not too long ago I watched people hit the zoo quest super hard.

However, to extrapolate any of that into an indictment of the shard as a whole, vets as a whole, "favored vets," or certain groups/individuals you happen to not like is crazy.

I am still just amazed that after all these years you still have the same people outraged that some insane conspiracy either happened or is ongoing. It does nothing but hurt the shard. But hey, they don't even play so what do they even care? Must be some life to log onto forums of a shard you don't play on to sling shit broadly at people.

Staff intervenes for players without regard for group alignment. I've seen it dozens of times across a range of issues from house placement to item recovery to helping with events. OSI did it too. It's only conspiracy when it benefits people you don't like.

I've seen people of every type and group accused (key word) of 3rd party programs, cheating, abusing mechanics, running vpns, extra accounts, afk script farming, ghost idoc zoning, selling stuff, running alt forum accounts, etc. I've seen staff handle it appropriately and fairly. How many bans have there ever been? On any side? It's only conspiracy when it benefits people you don't like.

Staff seems ultra consistent in granting players a fair hearing, confidential trial process, lots of patience, and the option of redemption. Which isn't a lot of peoples' style but I can say, at least it's consistent. It's only conspiracy when it benefits people you don't like.

This constantly accusing people of shit and lumping them into some broad group of guilt by association is Marcarthyism and it damages the entire shard because new people read it, don't know what really happened (do any of us even?), and (appropriately) assume the worst.

I hope nobody reading this gets the idea into your head that you can easily get away with running more than 3 accounts just because others might be allegedly doing it. I have no idea what Chris has set up to map IP addresses to accounts, but even if you use a hotspot, VPN, proxy, lie about having a roommate who plays, etc. it would be very easy to be caught.

You are either lying or lack basic self control... NOT posting is entirely within your capability... I would ask what your endgame is but that just may cause you to lose self control and post more...
