I am new to the server and back playing UO after 15 years off..

Someone donated 50k and 1k each regs for me to start building my character. I gave 5k to another new player and I'm down to about 200 each reg.

I don't know if I would still qualify for help or even need anything right now but I am committed to building out my character and getting going on this shard!

i would like to start with
1.. not going to linger around Ocllo to drop a few things to newbies just running around in those dungeons (interrupt) their game play..
2.. Forums is a great way to reach out and get the new players to log in and communicate thru the forums. Willing to do that is a step closer to staying
3.. IRC also a great way to reach out to get the new player to join the giveaways and communicate thru IRC to get info
4.. just because someone uses the clearly visible approach to get the event out in the open , doesn't mean he is trying for retribution for some bad thing he had done
5.. Yes i have different life styles i play on this shard , I PVM , PVE, PVP, and strait up run a murderer , hell sometimes i will even res and help them if they are not advanced enough in the game i like to help them , and that brings friends you can play with .
6.. You talk about Full Page Ad indicating what we did but that is just the big things we want to put together to maybe get that little something vibe from each character , that doesnt mean there are not countless other times to sit and talk with a person and get to know them , it is not a "there ya go kid, now go change the world " type of deal , you keep in touch with them , and even with the giveaways i let them know if they need any help at all to contact me , and most have and we go hunting together all the time
7. here is your quote up at the top "It's a shame that some of us are going to spit on a good deed, but there's a little something to be said about efforts such as these." You list all that crap that is the same as to spit on the good deeds ,,, a good deed is a good deed no matter if people see or not

1) If you consider interacting with actual other players in an online (gasp!) game as interruption of their game play, then perhaps you go should try to find a different game, such as Skyrim, where you can play interruption free.

2) Not every player uses forums. Every player uses UOR.

3) Not every player uses IRC. Every player uses UOR.

4) I didn't claim he was seeking redemption. Everyone has their own motive. Good for him, whatever his motive is!

6) I talk about certain types who make sure their generous offerings are advertised so that they can win favor. Not everyone does that. Those who do, know who they are. If someone vehemently defends their generosity, then to me that's a clue.

i believe u just got your panties in a a wad , and not totally construing my words as they are clearly typed , and no did not take this personal , i am speaking for the same type of people that do these giveaways , i know them all very well and know they do not do it to make themselves look any better to the public. the thing with labeler is he always does good stuff under radar but when one thing that one guy got his feelings hurt comes along and wants to bash about the situation is total bullshit why did they not just let his thread stay open to the new player to type in their stuff and all this crap would have never been open to discussion , some of these whinny bitches need to take a chill pill and get on with the day cuz it is only a game in the end
