Like the title asks. Where and how do you spawn a revenant? Just go to any graveyard and start killing?

Seems to be that. I've happened across 6 or 7 in normal graveyard areas.

They hit hard but aren't too difficult to take down.

    Revenants spawn in graveyards.

Thanks I wasn’t sure. It doesn’t give a spawn location. So any graveyard I just start killing the spawn and one of these will eventually spawn?

Yep. Any graveyard and if you kill enough they will eventually pop. They can hit pretty hard and do a moderate poison occasionally, but no spell casting.

Also, if you drag wisps into the graveyard, they will not aggro the wisps (good for having the wisps do the legwork of popping them but not killing them)

About how long do they take to spawn? Are any graveyards better than others? asking for a friend

They have a 1% chance to spawn instead of a Skeleton at the GYs

The respawn is almost immediate but the chance for a Revenant seems about what Alex said. No GY has a better chance than any others, but Vesper has an usually large amount undead. I'm not sure if something wasn't reset after Halloween or if it's the new norm, but there's about double what there used to be - I've been assuming that each ones has an equal chance to spawn as a Revenant.

Does anyone know if there is anything special about the scimitar or shield that have a chance to drop or is it just a hue change, thanks.

Wisps... interesting creatures they are. You'll find once they figure out what you're up to, they'll be happy to help you on your quest.

Sometimes you have to piss them off so they'll follow you but once they forget about your small crime, they'll calm down and focus on comboing the undead.

Even more strange, they'll only work with you if you're near them.

There is a "UO legend / urban myth" I remember hearing that wisps would respond to certain words and say things along with gibberish. Anyone ever hear that??

I remember hearing that. I checked my trusty UO Guide
