Lep sandals are still sweet, except the diarrhea looking ones. Just means more people can feel fashionable about having 1 pair of sweet sandals. Lets not get upset about trammel wear. The event was cool and fun to see a lot of people participate. Also jumping into an instance and not knowing if whoever was in there with you or was going to pull a skunk ape.
It is tough to gauge player involvement and the outcome of it when launching an event for the first time. It was just a massive Leprechaun rape fest 24/7 during the event. I would not be the least bit surprised if more leprechauns were killed this year than all the previous years combined...x2!
I see no problem with the democratization of rares. Rich old vets hoard a lot of the wealth on the server. More in circulation means they are more accessible to the proletariat. Down with the bourgeoisie!!!
