I ran three red Amibs with a character with the "Generic Player" name before I had it changed, and no trophies were awarded. All gold and plat were looted and no rares were in the instances. Just curious if my name being removed would have had anything to do with this. Thanks for all you do guys!
well if you were riding a horse and you took in a pack llama or something, then I think that voids the iron man rules. If you that doesn't apply, then the only thing I can think of it that you missed some plat. The first iron man attempt I had failed because I missed a piece of plat. Oh did you put the chest key back in the chest? I think I failed one once because of that.
Set up a restock macro in razor. Gold and plat to razor are the same thing. So make sure to set the amount to like 999999. There is 5k in each chest so pulling that and dropping to the ground, then restocking will help make sure you got everything out of it. Amibs are ran thousands of times, so errors are usually at a minimum.
I have recieved a couple ironmans with my etheral and a pack horse but i would not be allowed to cast any blade spirits/evs (nor could I) Did you cast anything that counts as followers?
Several things: 1.- Be absolutely sure you’re alone. Yeah, yeah, even if you casted that gate from inside your house, sometimes visitors like to drop in. 2.- You CANNOT cast BS or EV or summon *your favorite thing here* until AFTER the gate closes. Once the gate closes, you’re good to go (3 minutes or so). However, if you brought in a mount and/or packhorse, you have to limit the number of summons. 3.- You HAVE to loot ALL the gold and plat. My restock macro is set to loot up to 10k gold (so I don’t get overweight). This is slightly inconvenient when you have 2 chests of 5k each...AND a couple of plat!! 4 coins get left behind!! Just be sure to drop off the gold before running your restock agent another couple of times or something. 4.- Reds have a slight chance of dropping a plat coin in the first chest. You might need to be looking for that extra plat.
Oh and, 5.- You mentioned rares, but you did not mention the ancient treasure chest. You need to loot that bad boy too.
Yeah, and finally, 6.- Doesn’t matter what you do to the key. You can put it back in the chest, in the floor, in a corpse or up your a... ...nd you’ll still get the trophy.
