Question about rules... are we allowed to have a little magery (but not cast spells) to get the better success rate on recall? Also is poisoning allowed?

I have 30 magery for scroll recalling but may drop that at some point. I think poisoning is allowed though you may want resist as not all our opponents are pure dexxers.

Basically, you can have Magery, but just can't use it in combat. Poisoning is allowed.

We'd love to have you in C^M, just note activity is a tad slow at the moment due to a lack of opponents. The Orx and DeX guilds are quiet at the moment, plus the brigands haven't returned yet.

There has been talk of trying to participate in non dexxer PvP, but we haven't made any decisions as of yet. Some of us do have Resist (yours truly) and others have talked about getting it.

@RIN about things being a tad slow at the moment, a couple of weeks ago I was trying to set something up with ORX but @King Xor mentioned that they have been busy lately. I hope they get "un-busy" soon!

I'm okay with it being on the slow side for now, TnT will take up a lot of my time at least for now. But I definitely want some light PvP side action to get that itch scratched.

Do you guys have any guides you'd recommend for speccing, leveling, etc?

Well things are pretty open-ended for your build. My strong recommendation is to have two weapon skills: a melee one and Archery. I also really like Parry as it is quite useful and strong. I would recommend this:

Melee Skill
Archery
Tactics
Anatomy
Healing
Parry
Resist

For your melee you have some choices:

Swords - Allows poisoning and concussive blows
Fencing - Allows poisoning and stunning
Mace - Allows stamina drain / armor damage and massive blows (with a war hammer)

Hail! So talks of dexxer guild wars, I have a few friends who are willing to take part. I have a dexxer guild and want to war any of those who wish to start doing town battles dexxer only. Lmk I think will be fun.

Are we still going off of the rule set no damage spells from magery. Can use magery for buffs and non damage spells? Or just no magery at all? Also lmk guild names to war. 1HiT is my dexxer guild name.

@Minax, the original intent was to have no magery at all. Then some people still wanted it for transportation or use when not actually fighting. So as long as you are not casting during a fight, then we would have no problem. We also prefer no looting.

Agreed I think that’s fair. And yes no looting policy is fine.

Who can I join with my dexxer? These fights only happen US night time?

Not sure yet going to be talking with whom ever has a guild to war with then figure out times.

@merlin8666, You can join us or another guild. As of right now, C^M has a decent number in both US and European time zones. The issue is we have no one organized to fight. We are hoping the Orx under Xor and the bandits under Bayara return, but as of now we're sitting in a hold pattern.

What I am getting at is if another group can organize to WAR us, then that would be good.

Also due to how we're all adults nowadays with RL responsibilities, fights will need to be organized between leaders. That way we can have some good clashes.
