I'm returning to Ultima after a 12 year hiatus. New to the server. I used to play Neverlands NL, a second age server that is no longer around. Like many of you some of my dearest gaming memories revolve around this game. I unfortunately work quite bit, but plan to play maybe 6-12 hours a week. I live in Atlanta and will mostly be online from 6-10Eastern. Just looking for any guilds that are active around this time or people to run with. I'm sure with the age of this server there's bound to be a few. Britannia can be a cruel place to navigate until you make friends, thought i'd make some friends before I've got anything worth being backstabbed for Currently have a stun mage going by Floki. Mostly trained already.

Welcome back! UOR is a great server and has a lot to offer to both solo players and those who like to play with groups. You joined at a great time. A lot of really fun stuff happens here towards the end of each year (anniversary and holiday events).
The only thing ive not enjoyed so far is waking up to see my runebook was stolen while macroing. Its a bit frustrating as these are things I was used to being blessed on typically any server I tried? It seem like it takes a fucking mountain off effort to get a bless deed here? Not here to change anything obviously, that's the only gripe I've really had. I'm not usually one to gripe but my spell book doesn't say it's blessed and I don't loose it when I die? Just seemed a bit stupid.
Yeah depending on when you played non-blessed runebooks can be a bit of a surprise. It's extremely unlikely to change now considering how much people have already invested in the bless deeds. Also make sure you understand home security here as the mechanics are quite different from what many of us were used to back on OSI (i.e. never heard of a table wall or needed one before). People get house looted all the time here.
Maybe i'm being a dope but I can't seem to copy any macros from the forums into my razor files. Does anyone know where I might find a useful guide on that. What I found googling wasn't much help as I can't find the folder they were discussed when I searched my pc :/
Your macros folder should be in the following location: C:\Users\xxxxxx\AppData\Roaming\Razor\Macros where "xxxx" is your Windows account name. So if my real name were Leopold, it would be something like C:\Users\leopold\AppData\Roaming\Razor\Macros In some cases Razor doesn't save change when you edit an existing macro. I don't know exactly when that happens, but the safest thing to do is to be logged out of all 3 clients and have UO and razor closed when editing the files themselves, and when editing a macro in Razor itself, only be logged into one character, make the changes, then log out and close everything. This might be overkill but it will work.
Welcome to UOR, The razor macros are in a folder that is hidden by default. You have to search for %appdata% that is where you will find the razor folder and the macro folder inside. To copy the macro you must first create one in razor then copy the macro you want and open the macro folder inside appdata. Then open the macro you just created and paste the text of the macro (notepad is fine) then save. Go back to razor and select the macro you just changed/saved and right click inside the empty box then select reload. Hope that helps. Good luck.
