Forgot to refresh most of my places.... although I am angry with myself I can't help but look at it in a freeing way. My playtime has been crap lately but was hanging on for future times, and now I am left at a crossroads. If anyone collected stuff from the yew waterfall idocs, let me know if you want to make some cash for it, mainly the more sentimental items(trophies/rewards). I look forward to rebuilding, or just seeking a new adventure!
That is why a person shouldn't have more than one house, in my opinion. Having multiple houses/boats makes refreshing seem like a chore. If it's just one house, then it seems more manageable even if you've become totally apathetic and inactive.
There really is life post house collapsing! In my first year here I left for 2.5 weeks and when I returned I found out my friend missed my house and it was a hard blow in its way. Not upset at pixels but a where do I go from here moment. I took a break and came back stronger than ever, but I became pixel rich again and at the end of that year I put all my stuff in a house and sold the house during a lotto/fund raiser. Then around March/April this year I went on an extended absence and before I did I gave away everything except my pets, current outfit I liked best on each char, and I kept like 4 ethy and 8 runebooks so all my chars were equipped when I came back. I went from pixel bound to pixels carefree with the first step being an accidental drop. That said I still do miss all my original P'S and Paws trophies from early and mid 2015. Hope ya get your momentos back, but I also hope you find a new direction and a new chapter in your uo life. For me this year after a restart it was getting in the mix of pvp and champs and end game fights that I never had done before.. turns out it's fun and I got a good group and I'm pretty decent at it! When I get back into UO the next time I hope to jump back in with the community and boost the new player content and experience and some old style public adventures.
Cero, I've started up in TGC here and you were a recruit by that time like me. we had different paths you choose to pvm and RP I choose to kill people and PvP. Hell maybe I even killed you. But as far as the community goes you have been a well respected player and not a problem maker. I am not a rich guy as I only PvP but pm me if I can do anything for you to get things back... IDERP got the loot and my group got the spot on this Keep IDOC. The Large tower and small tower near Britain that was connected to the Waterfall Keep we got. However all the loot has already been sold/ trophy’s cashed in for plat as far as I know. The bricks (yew and transic) I believe most of that loot was left on the ground. Didn’t have much value.
@Outlaw is now the owner of Waterfall Keep. Not sure if he would be interested in selling it. Since it’s one of the sweetest Keep spots in the game.
Thanks for the great advice and kind words everyone! Going to hit up Earsnot and see what few items I want to recover and set out on a new adventure...I have a few ideas storming that only require little playtime that I'm sure some people will enjoy! @Glenco it was not the keep, but the small player village of Serenity(all smalls East of the falls) that I was going to RP out of that fell, unfortunately I had most of my crap in two of the building!
