I am promoting a contest for youtube videos that promote UO Renaissance.
I will be the judge and I have the final say.

It's as simple as 1, 2, 3!

Requirements:
The contest will last 60 days, Until Dec 8th, 2018.
Video must be 5+ minutes without obsolete blank space.
The first line of your youtube description must be: http://www.uorenaissance.com/
You are allowed to enter multiple videos but they all must fit the Requirements & Criteria.
Production value is not a requirement but it helps.
It must be a new video and can not be unlisted or private.
Each video needs to have the relevant tags to help it show up in searches (Ultima Online, Online Games, MMORPG, UO Renaissance, etc)

Criteria: used for rating of individual videos:
How to find UO Renaissance and get started playing.
Show the website and it's unique features.
Show the high population on UO Renaissance.
Show the helpful community here on UO Renaissance.
Give informative details on how to get started on UO Renaissance.
Tell us why you think UO Renaissance is the best shard.
Demonstrate the nostalgic value of UO Renaissance.
No mention of other shards.
Witty humor is a plus.

In 1 year I personally will give an additional 500k gold to 4th place. If you remove your video during that time it will be disqualified. 4th place will silently be picked by myself. So it could be any of you. Please note this only applies to videos within the 60 days.

I used to do these videos in days, now its weeks lol. Anyhow I hope you all enjoy getting started - OSSYTANK STYLE!

Didn't do this video just for the contest, in my 9 months away I got loads of messages about using ossytanks and how to get started with them.

Come on people, more of you can do this. I learned everything about video editing from a few youtube tutorials, its not that hard.

Besides your point of view on getting started in this game is likely different then mine. New players might connect to your methods, techniques, and overall play style more then...ossy tanking lol. Not to mention, the more UOR media we put out there, the more likely people will find our great server!

Hey Keza... do you use the razor function for recording video or some other method? Also what editing software do you use. Love your videos btw. They’ve helped a lot and are fun to watch. Thanks!

For recording I use Open Broadcaster Software (OBS), linked here and @Baler linked it at the start of this thread.

For editing I used Windows Movie Maker, recently switched to HitFilm but it is a good bit more complex. Most people will find all the editing power they need with movie maker.

Keza I fully agree that people can do everything they need with windows movie maker. It's very simple to use and isn't as bad as it use to be. Mostly why it's not mentioned in editing circles is the old versions were pretty trash. but the new version is half decent for simple stuff.

You can do more with the new windows movie maker having zero experience than the highest quality video editing software having no experience.

Maaan someone does a video of that NoH... for sure someone will gonna love it..
