Locating IRC

Can someone please direct me to the correct site to get started with IRC. When I do from the link on the home page here it goes to a blank page.

There's some growing pains for users of UOR IRC it seems. Don't feel alone, it happens to most of us.

The IRC launcher linked on the UOR Homepage has various results with most users and there are several threads talking about it on our forums.
The TLDR and my personal recommendation is to use a 3rd party IRC program.

However, in the interim some people have had results by closing the bugged window and clicking the link again until it finally loads.

This works.. if you get an error just refresh the page and clcik the uor website link to IRC again.
Sometimes takes 2, 3, 4 tries

Looks like I will have to install a flash player. I didn't take time to do it last night but I'll keep you updated when I do.

Is there another third-party program for IRC that you would recommend?

I think most will recommend mIRC but it is paid, except for 30 days trial, otherwise HexChat is a good free alternative.

I've seen a guide to add server and channels, it's not that hard.

Just curious does anybody run IRC on a mobile phone? And if so, what's the name.of the app?
