Hello, my character disappeared from my account his name was just "nilmer" the other characters on the account are still there, so I am not typing account name wrong. He was the only character I had built up to a level where I could actually play. provo/mage/tamer is there anything that can be done?
@BlackEye is likely to blame here... he makes things vanish. Being serious, though, should contact Telamon on IRC or @Chris here on the forums.
Update: Thank you for the help everyone! I appreciate it Telamon informed me that the character cannot be recovered, or replaced. So now I need to decide whether to start again from scratch. or give up. I appreciate all the help I got here, and in the chat room.
So i spent all day and all night macroing a char to gm fencing/anat/tactics tried to take him out today. got pk'd by a guy named thanos. re geared up, then I tried to take revenge and attacked him. he gated and I followed .... straight into town where guards whacked me. re geard up to try again. he kills me. then he Res's me, and gates me. .....straight into a orc den with no exit? idk... i think i may be done.
. Pain or damage don't end the world. Or Despair, or beatings. The world ends when you're dead. Until then, you got more punishment in store. Stand it like a man and give some back.
Character deletion I can't imagine being anything other than human error. I don't believe the system just decides to delete characters. If you're thinking about quitting after a bad run in with a pk and haven't given yourself the chance to learn from it early on in your time here, good luck where ever you decide to go next. But I urge you not to let it discourage you. What's done is done with the character deleted. If you think your user and password may be compromised then perhaps Telamon can assist you with that. Good support systems help keep players here and active. Find some friends (guilds are usually recruiting) gain some wisdom from vets, get revenge and kick some ass. +1 for @wylwrk post on Deadwood
This is UO, you either love it or hate it. If RL is already giving you too many beatings, maybe UO:R isn't for you. What you describe here is a regular UO tuesday for me
