I liked the idea for plat to replace silver in factions. Giving factions a purpose.

Played Uthgard when it went live(still keep my house up), people complained it was too slow. Which was odd, I got two lvl 50s there and I NEVER got a lvl 50 back in the day and I played way more often when OG DAOC went live... they just picked stupid solo characters to lvl, then when it got to leveling their mains there was nobody to group with. I thought about joining Phoenix but figured later on another will open up, plus that one just looked bland. Here on UOR I leave and come back, and enjoy it. I don't see how you can be a UO fan and just quit or think grass is greener than THIS!!! Actually, I think I played here longer than I ever had in OSI times.

Super easy to abuse, especially with 3 accounts.

obviously it can't just be mashed into the faction system. Things would have to be toned down. But no one fucking does factions as-is. Plat would get the blood flowing for sure. It could also be a plat sink to buy guards, horses, w.e faction does.
