Does anyone have any insight or metrics that quantify how successful the raffles have been to date? If the idea was to drive plat/HC sink and stabilize the economy, I’m simply curious to see how much coin is still out there and whether we’re seeing an uptick in HC value and other downstream items pegged to HC/plat rates (I.e. Xmas scrolls, AMIBs).

I realize we can all speculate and toss around anecdotes, but just looking for tangible data.

I checked the historical curves but they don’t yet appear to reflect the impact of the sink:

If you zoom the graph in to 12-12-2018 to 2-12-2019, you can see a more clear change. I'm not sure when the raffle started since I just started coming back this month, but I figured 2 months would show some change.

Platinum has been decreasing steadily that whole time, but in late January, the line takes a steeper dive, showing a greater decrease.

HC shows to have been decreasing steadily since late January. This is notable because, being right after xmas, more people are doing xmas scrolls, so you'd think the HC levels would be increasing during this time period. The numbers show HC is down approximately 2300 since late January

EDIT: Unless I'm doing something wrong, the graphs don't seem to show any information past 2/12/2019 (as of this posting), even when I set the date as today's date.

I don't think the lotto went live until after 2/12, so those trends may not be reflective of the impact of the lotto.

Oh ok. As I said, I'm just coming back, so I wasn't sure of exactly when it started.

I wonder why the graphs haven't updated since that date.

I don't think any of the item databases have updated in a while, which stinks because it'd be interesting to see how many epic items ended up dropping.
