Out of curiosity, have you raised a dragon’s dex to 100? Because I’ve gotten them to 6x GM and they have only gained maybe 1-2 points of dex, which leads me to believe you have to kill and retrain them multiple times which in turn tanks their magic resist... Nice dragon though!
Yeah man, have done it with my two main dragons by simply attacking mobs during farming. You must be severely unlucky, because my drags started at I think k 91 and 92 and I managed to get them both to 100 with tactics and resist being the final catalysts in gaining. Resist and magery are both below 90 even now.. Dex is the secondary stat to resist so I dunno why you didn't gain that much
I’ve fully GMd 8 dragons in the past month, and none of them got to 100 dex that were below 100. Not sure what I’m doing wrong Not trying to derail your thread, sorry!
At the risk of derailing, @Lord Sky you must have terrible luck. I have trained up 3 or so dragons, as well as a couple mares to 100 dex w/o pet deaths. From 87 it should get to nearly 100 while GMing melee skills. A few natural pet deaths while farming and Boom! Your at 100 before you know it. For reference my newest bonder started at 88 dex and made it to 99 while training to GM his first time. http://www.uorenaissance.com/pets/2349978 Also that is a nice quality dragon and at a great price!! Dex raises when doing melee (wrestling) training but also for some reason I've had it raised during resist/magery training. Also keep in mind that disordance speeds up skills gains and therefore slows down stat gains. So if you want to gain stats like Dex hold off on discordance until it's 100. I've been gradually writing an update to @El Horno 's excellent pet training guide with details like this, but got distracted by other things.
