Shield of Light is a new guild that has been started by myself and other friends that have migrated over to a lot better world, UOR. We are pretty much what the name says, we are protectors and Paladins of Sosaria. Our primary goal is to simply just have fun hunt PvM PvP you name it we will do it! We however do not accept murderers into the guild but if you become one due to virtuous deeds such as others looting your treasure chest or attacking a grey guild member we are pretty flexible. Basically PKing isnt out of the question we would like you to be blue when joining, We have around 4-5 active members so far and slowly growing into what we hope will be a good name on UOR. Zandak is our glorious guild leader with a lot of experience as i have many years behind my belt as well. Our goal is definitely looking at the future and would like a strong player relationship and Role playing is definitely a welcomed change if so preferred. Theres simple rules that apply and they go like this. No telling people they suck, get better, guild member killing and lootings politics religion and anything else that may cause a RL disturbance and make it to where players are not having a good time. Hey @Pharoah best wishes for you bro.. I have been in more than 4 guilds, before CPR, since i started... the best thing of starting guilds is that you discover and have new experiencies together... so you are not a recruit, people help you, you help people, and everyone write some pages of the guild history. I think a good guild just need a concept.. something that makes it different from the others.. And the shard needs more 100% PvM guilds... PvM could be fun, and hardcore specially with a good crew!
yep, i been either leading or running a guild for id be lying if i gave you a time, a good bit of my 19 years total playing UO. To me it's about finding people who actually want to have fun, a good experience playing and no bullshit. As in make others feel bad belittle troll or talk trash. cant stand that and makes for a bad experience. Our Guildmaster Zandak is a awesome guy, Family man and has a good head on his shoulders. It's all about having a good time.
