Also agreed. Never understood the permanent counter. Should be optional.

Or at least lose ONE of the counter tops so you have the option of replacing it with another counter top for authenticity or a trash barrel if you wanna move around easier. If you removed the counter top closest to the internal east wall you wouldn't even notice it.

    That's history perfected.

A few New housing designs does seem to be something that could be added w/o turning too much into trammel.

ETA- uh oh....am I inching closer to stage 3???

I have always thought that the best option would be to keep the exact same exterior on all house designs but include the option to alter and change the internal set up of a home.

It solves several problems that I understand exist. Firstly it can create a gold sink, you have add a menu to the house sign that is linked to a players bank account and allows them to purchase the relevant individual walls, blocks steps and doors for that material house. No plaster in a stone house, no marble in a wood house etc etc. You purchase place and set them and they're locked in place - gold leaves your account. Secondly it creates new content. Which, I understand some people want. And thirdly it doesn't throw us into a horrible trammel existence with bum ass, ugly ass houses everywhere.

Everything would look EXACTLY the same. From the outside.

There was a discussion that took place with Chris and he actually wasn't opposed to the idea of what @Earsnot mentioned about altering interior walls and such. But I dont think it is something that would become a priority. Or ever happen just because he has other important things that he eventually needs to get to. I'm all about deco and house discussions though.

If I had to choose 1 house it would be a Large Patio for Sure, ability to secure your loot fast by dropping on the fence and then moving the item onto the porch, people can steal your items on the fence but not on the patio itself, they can break containers but that hardly happens unless u have an enemy..

You can do practically anything but train pets in a patio house

@Chris I think this is an interesting design and one that would provide a solid gold sink for standard patio spots that this would fit.

Thanks for all replies, now I know I Patio is not for me with that counter in the middle.

For now... I will decide between

Sandstone, Log Cabinet, Villa or L Houses...

Someone here that’s good at it...not me..

Render the first floor of a tower with the same existing roof.

Basically just knock out the middle 2 floors.

Who’s got the skills to do it?!

Couldn't find those triangle pieces for the arches, so I've stuck blocks there instead.

But that's an L tower with floors removed (kinda) left a mezzanine level.

That's great work my friend. Hopefully these houses find a way on here

Yup. Wouldn’t that be better? Not many people even use the middle floors.

Nice mezzanine for an archer turret
