    As one of the few people I've chatted to in game, I'm pleased to hear you've had one of your goals achieved. Ethy next mate!

    Air, as someone new to the server, I'm sorry to see you go without knowing you. I say that because the more old-timers around, the more there are for us new folk to interact with.

    Like the 25k cheque I was given by a vet, 20k of which went to buying a boat from your vendor? Am pretty sure that 25k was good for both of us

    1- you are one of the guys that no one could talk shit about in the server... since I've been here, i never saw you inside salty novels on forums... i only will remember you as a folk that helped the shard, in events, with info and etc..

    2- puting all your goos at your house and let decay could look a good idea... for sure a great fight will happen for it... i just feel bad because all this good shit will gonna goes to the pokets of the people that are already plenty of good shit.... mid, idep and any other group of ancients... In mine opinion,, put the best shits on your bank... and make a thread with the lower value items and give to those that have a lower time at the shard... or let some stuffs to the newbs at occult banks(and serpents) doing this you will gona make something good to the shard..

    who am i to make you give up? so, take care and good luck at your new hobby.

    25k is a drop I the bucket compared to the millions we are talking here... false equivilancy… besides my boats are under 20k, and only one small boat sold since I started running the shop 13,999g

    So maybe it wasn't your vendor that I bought a large dragon boat for 20k from? It seemed like it was based on your screenshot in the trade forum, as it was from the same vendor mall.

    Whilst you can say "false equivalency", and I can understand that argument to a certain extent, my point is that any addition to an economy goes back into that economy. To assume that it is "squandered" is bullshit

    Going to step in here and clarify a few things.

    You joined IRC last night for the first time in a 3 months (your last login to IRC was from 2/11/2019) and immediately said this.

    As players discussed the issue with you and I tried to figure out your concerns, and talk about some of the things we have going on lately. You made this statement making your gripes a bit more clear. Emphasis added.

    As the conversation continued and myself and other players tried to figure out what your major gripes were with the server. After 3 hours it basically seemed to boil down to situations with TT from 4 years ago. And your intense hatred of the IDOC'ers from years past. You demanded we fix things from years ago, without even bothering to take the time to play to see if those things were still problems, or as commonplace as you stated. Most I suspect were already patched, but you were unclear on the details other than faction guard issues.

    Eventually myself and the other players in the chat room realized you didn't really have any plan/ideas to help the server grown going forward and seemingly just wanted to complain. I was very clear about UOR's goal and how we exist in the free shard community. If you need paid staff to "entertain you" I was clear that this server is most likely not for you.

    At this point you started fighting with other players who were actually doing the things you were complaining about claiming that their opinions were not as valid as yours because they were not around for TT faction drama etc. Multiple times you were asked to back up your gripes with recent situations to justify how "bad the server was" in your opinion.

    After 3 hours of trying to understand exactly what you found so wrong about the server you started attacking other players and insulting them. For this you were banned from IRC and given my personal opinion that you had just come by UOR to gripe. Most likely because the server you play on now is not living up to your expectations and you want to return to playing here but for some reason cannot let go of past bad situations with TT/Factions/IDOC guilds.

    I am always open to talking to our players about server development, upcoming patches, and any concerns you have about bugs. However former players just stopping by for the first time in 3 months to bitch about the server not providing them "entertainment" will be met with frustration by the staff.

    I've moved this thread to player run events as that better matches its topic.

    Why not include the whole conversation we had telemon? Instead of cherry picking 1 or 2 comments that can be taken out of context? And you weren't concerned about figuring out why I was upset. You are concerned about defending yourself and the lack of promises kept, and you even misled everybody and IRC about changes that you did not make. The mechanics I was talking about still exist, it's the same old stuff, different day. Like I said in the title of this post, whatever. You will assume that I dislike you and the server and that there is some kind of ulterior motive for my frustration. It's been fun.

    Oh, and I played That other server for about 2 weeks. But you didn't see that in my chat comments on IRC. You teamed up with Chase, who is a nobody, and a had fun trying to make me look like I did not know what I was talking about. It's fine though, I don't want to make this thread a huge fight between you and I. Yeah we've had our differences but like I said last night I spent probably 6 years here on uor, had a great time great experiences here. Good luck and take.care.
