The way of the Naturalist

i tried so so so hard to get one going 2 or so years ago. Hardest part of it all was keeping people within the naturalist boundaries. Lots were macroing when nobody looked etc etc. Ended up being @Cero and I, plus 6-9 euro players. We were so off timeframe wise we couldn't do too much without losing sleep/missing work

I play my naturalist on and off still. I havent cheated yet (except for making a set of gm armor for the braveheart event). I may barrel it.

Started playing him again and joined cove militia. Almost to my first GM with swords. Went from 99.3 to .7 during Braveheart. Anyways it is fun to play him now and then.

I currently dont have one, ahhh!

Crafter is a bod flippin house mouse, and the ranger tamer is now a lamer macroed beast.

Might have to do another @Keza build one of these days natural style

This thread really got me excited - I'm making a naturalist character, who is with me!

Just made my naturalist toon Ric Flair.

50 magery 50 healing

42 STR 15 DEX 23 INT

no macroing and no help from my other toons or accts

Come! Ubo wanders the woods west of Vesper, gathering materials and hunting birds.

I haven’t seen a soul in this forest for days. There is a mighty troll which prevents my passage.

For now, I found refuge in Vesper.

Soon I’ll make my way ...

Right, just done this.

My character is Mak, an apprentice mage studying at Moonglow (50 magery, 49 resist) who has realised that a path in magic is not for him. Quit his apprenticeship and about to explore the world. I think his stats were something like 35 str, 20 dex, 25 int.

I am thinking that he will focus on fencing, archery, fletching as he explores the island.

My traveler intends to make way towards the great city of Britain.

For now I am gathering supplies for the journey ahead and training my steed.

Yeah maybe it would have to be one of the admins if its a sub channel in the main UOR discord but anyone could start a naturalist channel. I'm still trying to figure which char i wanna part with and delete to make one haha

Only carry what you can on this path. Wandering the forests and shooting chickens for feathers has brought me great joy.

So much so I forgot the 7x builds I have!

I have a tavern by the Cove moongate people can hang out in by the way, looks awesome with no light filters and dark nights on!

I wish the barkeep npcs functioned properly so I could keep one there, but maybe I'll just make a vendor and stock him up.

Ok wheres the new Naturalist guild? Do I need to create one so we can organize?
