as long as your tamer never goes red you have nothing to worried about Newbied = non stealable and stays on player upon death Red = not stealable but if you die you are losing it

Ok I’m trying to understand what the benefits are of 105 taming besides taming high level stuff easier and controlling white wyrms.

To me 105 taming is mostly about being able to tame without nearly as many fails. However it is also extremely useful when maximizing taming gains on a new tamer. i.e. Get to 66.1 shown taming, put on both mask & bust to bump up 5 points to 71.1 and start taming bulls. Tame bulls until you gain 2 full points, then take off the bust to be at 71.1 taming again. Gain 1 point, take off the mask, put on the bust to be at 71.1 taming yet again. Gain 2 more points, and take off the bust to once again be at 71.1 taming. You can do this at any point in the process of taming to help temporarily boost your skill to the next taming tier and achieve the maximum amount of gains for your tamer. (Don't attempt to wear these items while afk at the bull pens! Melee damage will damage the items, and if you do not fortify them, they can be broken)
