Due to 2 late bids (one literally being 5 mins outside), the latter almost 100% of the 200k, I am extending this for one more hour as the guy wasn't on to claim it anyway and it's apparently getting more popular. I will extend this auction for just 1 more hour from now.

I wake up hungover and find out you’ve extended the auction because I wasn’t there to collect? I don’t see any part of that in your rules.
What’s even more of a slap in the face is I was honest - I was gonna change my bid to 150 because there were no bidders but said that would be wrong.
I’m taking my hungover ass back to bed. Let me know when I can pick up my mask for 200.

That doesn't make you honest, just makes you a dick for wanting to do it in the first place.

Bidding up to a price to scare off anyone else who might be interested and thinking about reducing your bid down by editing it which doesn't send an alert to any other honest bidders in the running...

Not saying what the OP did wasn't fair forum etiquette, but it looks like any thread you make or bid on should come with a "buyers/bidders beware" warning.

Hi Venger. At the end of the day I'm sure you'll agree cash is king. If someone came along and bid 150k more on top, relatively short time after I proposed a 24 hour deal, then I'm sorry are you telling me you wouldn't accept? Given that you weren't on at the time. We all have social lives so I understand you were drunk, but you weren't around to claim it when the time elapsed.

Plus, let's be honest, I didn't have to put it at a 24 hour auction, I did did that so that the person winning it would have it expidited so there wasn't a wait. If someone comes in literally 7 minutes late with a 300k offer and someone else 350, I would be a fool to refuse it. Its not like a whole day passed.

I just thought it would be refreshing to have an auction here there wasn't a 24 hr or 48 hr one.

Tell you what I'll do, I'll message the guy who bid 350k and see if he still wants it and explain the situation. If he backs out, then next is line is the guy who bid 300k and you can decide between you who wants it more.

At the end of the day this is an auction in a 2d game that is over 20 years old, and therefore it's not like anything is stipulated by law saying you get the mask. Although I do feel bad, so I will happily give it to you for 200k if the other guys don't want it.
