Easter Egg Hunt The easter egg hunt has been updated for 2015. For more information on the event check this thread. Easter Egg Hunt 2015 Clothing Resolved some default naming issues for the various pieces of clothing dropped from Leprechauns. Note: This will be retroactive to any existing items in the world. Capture the Flag Events Re-wrote the system in use that reports events and event results to our web database. Exported the kills, deaths, flag caps, and damage healed to allow for additional scorekeeping. Adjusted the system in which CTF enables and disables spectator gates. Corpses Player corpse decay times will be extended to mitigate any negative affects of connectivity issues with the server. Your corpse will not begin to decay until a player has opened it once, or until a longer time window has passed. This will allow players to recover their items in the event of a DDOS attack or other connectivity issue with the server. This will also allow players more time to get to their corpse in normal situations. Event Systems Event Lobby Gates cannot be used while you are a criminal or under young protection. Added an event lobby gate on Ocllo island. Explosion Spell In rare situations when attacking a perma-grey thief, the check for a harmful act would fail when the explosion was cast. This would result in the attacker incorrectly flagging grey vs a perma grey thief. Thanks Russell/Zugu Faction Bases Updated the True Brit Faction Base to include the complete bridge. Updated the Minax Faction Base to include the complete mountain path. Help Stuck System Added Buc's Den Locations to the T2A location option list in the event a red uses the help stuck system. Note: I should add an IRC broadcast to this just for the shame factor, but that's a project for another day. "The murderer Jimbob just used the help stuck system to escape to Buc's Den" Peacemaking / Pet Control Issuing a command to a pet who is under the effects of a targeted peacemake will result in the pet breaking free of the calmed mode. Peacemake will still interrupt the current command of a tamed pet, but the tamer can issue a new command that the pet will follow. This will resolve situations where players pets could be locked in place by another player with no recourse (release, follow, attack, etc) Strandedness System Implement a location selection list for red players that does not include guarded areas. This will resolve the problem of murderers being sent into town should they timeout over water. Note: The strandedness system is what sends you to the town docks should you login over water. Taming/Bonding Event Resolved a problem in which the bonding event scroll would not allow you to use it to complete the event. Tournament System Fixed a rare problem in which players would not resurrect with all of their possessions restored properly. Fixed a problem in which event trophies did not have the proper tournament information on them (1v1, 2v2, etc) Sudden Death Warnings will no longer be given to players who are dead at the initiation of sudden death. (2v2+ matches) Added a delay between rounds so that players will have more time to prepare between matches. (Currently 1 minute) Allowed faction members, of different factions, to perform beneficial acts on each other during a tournament. Disabled the ability of spectators from being able to perform beneficial acts on tournament participants. Website Export Added a few additional data points to the various exports. Added the last login date to character data in order to allow for future database pruning. This we might not make public, unless we include it in your general privacy settings. It is a data element we might use to purge monster kill, player death data for inactive players to keep our web databases down to a reasonable size.
Not sure if its worth it, but is there a way to track damage dealt out, also? Per match? Its more of a curiosity for me to see who the helper character is that wears'em down.
This change IMO is a mistake. So all a tamer/summoner has to do is spam "all kill"/last target and it will completely nullify peacemaking? This just makes PvP tamers that much more powerful. I admit that Ive done this at champ spawns before to mess with farmers. It was silly that it wasnt a hostile action. It should flag you a criminal and nothing more. That way the recourse is that the tamer and his other pet(s) just flipping kill you
I think I see what your saying. Why not have it be that the AoE peace can be overwritten like the patch describes (if it even lasts that long) and single target peacemaking another players pets would still work 100% but flag you crim? Im not sure I understand what problems your talking about except AoE peacemaking at champs flagging all the tamers there. Is there any other skill out there that counters taming in straight up PvP?
