Why do the other L_ores work fine yet when placed in the exact same position in relation on the 48x48 as the others, the L_bronze doesn't work. My issue with switching to LR or C is 2 fold, not only do i already have a ton of markers placed so just switched the single file seems easier, the LR and C icons are not as exact in where they need to be placed on the grid.
How are you placing the markers in order to get all the icons centered? Where do you place the marker when the ore spot is just over the grid line?
As seen in the close up below, the markers are all placed in the upper corner (the orange squares). As you can see, the markers are all placed in the exact same location on the grid, but L_bronze is just way off in placement, although now it is the correct hue.
I mean where are you placing the marker when the spot is just over the greed line, for example you get a mining spot in forest but is just over a grid line. How can I know if the spot is in one square or the next one
What was the solution you ended up going with? I've been losing sleep over this shit. MAKES NO SENSE.
The solution I'm using is to use C_tiles. I still need to go in by hand and replace all the original L_'s with C's so they are all the exact same. Ya mindless, I haven't slept for days... makes no sense. Why? Why?
updated with a TON of new veins. Almost all of these new veins come from a gentleman named Gatsby. So far he has marked more then 2x as many veins as I have so I really have to thank this guy for his massive contribution to the uor-gs. The updated pic on the first post doesn't even include a ton of the southern trinsic mountains that Gatsby marked, as well as huge tracks in delucia.
Just did the mountains outside the town wind. WOW that chunk took a long time. Anyone else see a pattern in the ore? Interesting! I am uploading this pic with UOAM at a different zoom so you can see the mountain pass under the icon.

The pattern is easier to see if you zoom out and un-tilt the map. For kicks here it is: That's pretty funny to me because I have always assumed the ore was just randomly dispersed throughout sosaria. It still may be on some level but still.
Its actually not too slow. The only veins I have to mine dry are iron veins to confirm they are iron. As soon as I draw a colored ore I mark it and move on. Wind mountain pass took me through an entire shitty wing chun movie.
